Utility Connection Fee Assistance Program

The Utility Connection Fee Assistance Program assists with water and sewer connection fee costs for low and moderate income households residing in owner-occupied homes within the County's Utility Extension Project service areas or in areas where utility service has become available as a result of nearby new development.

Low income qualified household will have 100% of the connection fee paid directly to the County on their behalf. It the applicant needs additional assistance with other connection cost, such as water meter installation, installing the service line from the home to the main or the fill-in of an abandoned septic tank, the Housing Division staff will process the application for funding under the existing Local Rehab Water/Wastewater Program.

Moderate income qualified households will have 50% of the connection fee paid directly to the County of their behalf.
