Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program provides federal funding to eligible local governments for planning and implementing projects that address critical community development needs, such as housing, infrastructure and economic development. In recent years, these federal funds, along with local matching funds have provided housing rehabilitation, replacement housing construction, water and sewer upgrades, and relocation assistance for local communities.

York County Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization Division is currently working on a multi-phase Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) rehabilitation project in the Carver Gardens neighborhood in the York County.
