The Finance Department is responsible for providing financial support services for all County operations. Duties include general accounting, payroll, personnel, accounts payable, purchasing, financial reporting and utility billing. Finance coordinates the development and administration of the Annual Operating Budget and prepares the County's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.

Included are the Divisions of Fiscal Accounting Services, Budget, Accounting & Financial Reporting and Central Purchasing.  Work performed in these divisions includes payroll, accounts payable, miscellaneous accounts receivable, utility billing, risk management, grants management, preparation of the County’s Budget and the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, and procurement.
