[ARCHIVED] "Footsteps in History"

Rainbow Puppet Productions presents "Footsteps in History," 400 years of Virginia history in 45 minutes, on Saturday, March 16, 2 p.m., in the Yorktown Library meeting room. The show begins in 1607 when Powhatan and Pocahontas see strangers entering the land of their ancestors. Those strangers include Captain Christopher Newport and John Smith who set sail from England searching for riches. Meet Blackbeard and his pirates, Mary Peake, Abe Lincoln, Neil Armstrong, and more. From the arrival of slaves to the first land battle of the Civil War to landing on the moon, the show highlights Virginia's rich history.
