On Wednesday, November 7th, the York County Beautification Committee hosted 13 young artists at the 2019 Beautiful York County Calendar Art Awards Banquet. Each of these students participated in the contest by submitting their own original artwork, to be judged by members of the Beautification Committee, and will have their artwork displayed in the 2019 calendar. Presenting the awards were Thomas "Mace" Langston, the committee's Vice-Chairman, and District 2 Supervisor Sheila Noll, always an environmental steward and champion for student programs.
In addition to having their artwork featured in the calendar, each student received a prize of $100.00 and received an invitation for themselves and their family at our awards banquet. Please see below for pictures of the winning artwork, which was displayed on our projection screen during the event).
