The Tabb and Yorktown Libraries will be closed Friday, Oct. 19, in observance of Yorktown Day. Both libraries will reopen at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20. Also, York County offices, York-Poquoson Social Services, and Waste Management Center offices will be closed on Oct. 19.
The VPPSA Composting Facility, Drop-off Centers for Garbage & Recycling, Garbage Transfer Station, York County Courts, and Virginia Cooperative Extension will be open on Oct. 19
Garbage and recycling collection will not be affected by the holiday.
