[ARCHIVED] Live Well @ Your Library

The York County Public Library continues its Live Well @ Your Library series in 2018. Live Well @ Your Library features monthly sessions on bettering the body, mending the mind, and soothing the soul.

Gentle Yoga @ Your Library

Relieve your stress and sooth your soul with our Yoga series at your Library. Adults are invited to join a Garden of Zen Yoga instructor for a free Gentle Yoga class at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 17, at the Yorktown Library. Bring your own mat or borrow one from our limited supply. Space is limited, so register online through the Events Calendar. You can also register by calling the Yorktown Library at 757-890-5207. Attendees must sign a waiver before participating. Note that Yoga will not be offered at the Tabb Library in September.

Retirement Transitions Series

Are you worried about how to plan for your retirement journey? Join Deborah Wells for our Retirement Transitions Series, which will help those contemplating retirement make the best choices.

Maximize Your Social Security Workshops on Sept. 11 and 13 have been canceled due to Hurricane Florence and the Governor's order that residents of Zone A begin evacuation. We hope to reschedule the workshops in the near future.

In Medicare Enrollment Tips, you'll learn what your enrollment options are and how you can get help navigating the complicated process of applying for Medicare when the time comes. This workshop will be offered on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Tabb and repeated on Thursday, Sept. 27, at Yorktown. Both workshops begin at 6:30 p.m. and last for an hour. Register online through the Events Calendar beginning Aug. 28 for the program at Tabb and Aug. 30 for the program at Yorktown. You can also register by calling Tabb at 757-890-5120 or Yorktown at 757-890-5207.
