Yoga @ Your Library in July
Relieve your stress and sooth your soul with our Yoga series at your Library. Adults are invited to join a Garden of Zen Yoga instructor for a free class. On Monday, July 9, try Gentle Yoga at 10:45 a.m. at the Yorktown Library. The Tabb Library will host an Evening Yoga class on Tuesday, July 31, at 6:45 p.m. Bring your own mat or borrow one from our limited supply. Space is limited, so register online through the Events Calendar for Gentle Yoga at Yorktown and Evening Yoga at Tabb. You can also register by calling Yorktown at 757-890-5207 or Tabb at 757-890-5120. Attendees must sign a waiver before participating.
Libraries Rock! on July 16
Join the "Kindness Rocks Project" on Monday, July 16, 6:30 p.m., at the Tabb Library. Relieve your stress by painting rocks with uplifting messages and calming images. Then share the positivity by gifting it to a friend or neighbor. Or share with a stranger by hiding your rock around York County. Supplies are provided. Registration is required. Ages 14 and up.
