The wait is over! The expanded and renovated Yorktown Library opens at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 20. Visitors may enjoy the circulation and reference services back at full capacity, public computers with print capabilities, and the use of study and group rooms. Because of continuing minor construction projects, some areas of the building may not be available, including the Children’s Wing. Once fully opened, the facility will offer an auditorium with a stage for performances, technology makerspace lab, and a local history area. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Keep watching the Library’s website and Facebook page for updates.
