Public Works will soon start construction on the Rt. 134 (Hampton Highway) Sidewalk Project, from Autumn Way to Lake Dale Way. The construction window is approximately (4) months. During this time, there will be some inconveniences with construction traffic and minor traffic delays but there will be full access for all emergency vehicles, mail delivery, trash and recycling collections.
This project was planned and designed to improve pedestrian and cycling connectivity. The sidewalk will allow pedestrians to safely travel along Hampton Highway.
