[ARCHIVED] 2022 Local Authors and Illustrators of Children's and Teen Book Festival

Authors and Illustrators of books for children and teens are invited to apply four our book fair

Have you written or illustrated a book for children or teens? Then the Tabb Library wants to celebrate your creativity at our book festival!

The Tabb Library is hosting the 2022 Local Authors and Illustrators Book Festival from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The event will feature only children’s and teen books to highlight the importance of youth literacy. Creators of books for toddlers, children, tweens and teens who live in the Hampton Roads area are invited to apply for a space to display and sell their published works. Applications are available online and are due by March 4. There is no fee to participate. However, there are a limited number of spaces available, so not all applicants will be accepted. Approved applicants will be notified of their inclusion in the event on Friday, March 11, 2022.

The book festival will take place in front of the Tabb Library, located at 100 Long Green Blvd., Yorktown, VA, 23693. Activities for children and families will also be offered. More details about this family-friendly event will be coming soon.

If you have questions about participating in the fair, contact Tabb Library Youth Services at 757-890-5110 or by email.
