[ARCHIVED] YCPL now providing VHS to MP4 Digital Conversion Service

Let the Tabb Library help you preserve your VHS home videos.

Take a stroll down Memory Lane and have your VHS home videos digitized. The York County Public Library is offering this free service to patrons with library cards in good standing. Bring your VHS tape and a minimum 5 GB flash drive to the Tabb Reference desk. You can also purchase an 8 GB flash drive for $5 at the Library. You must sign a liability waiver before digitization begins. Patrons may bring in one VHS tape at a time with no more than three per month. For more information, email the Reference Department or call 757-890-5120.

This service is intended to help preserve home movies. The Library cannot convert any VHS tape that is copyrighted, such as feature films or television shows.
