The Great American Cleanup is an opportunity to transform your neighborhood and community into beautiful, healthy spaces. Beautiful places are environmentally healthy, socially connected and economically sound. They’re better places to raise families, start a business or go to school.
There will be an organized event on March 26 from 9am – 12noon (rain date on March 27), where volunteers are requested to clean the roadsides of Mooretown Rd. and Airport Rd. in the upper County. Please register in advance to participate.
For any of these events, supplies and support are available. Trash bags, gloves, litter pick-up tools, and safety vests can be requested for pick up prior to the Great American Cleanup. Adult supervision is required for participants under the age of 18, and proper attire is required (such as close toe/hard sole shoes and safety vests). Reflective signs are available for roadside cleanups for additional safety.
