Anyone, middle school age and up, can volunteer for Safety Town. Volunteers assist the hired staff. There will be a mandatory orientation for all volunteers on Wednesday, June 25, at 10 am in the conference room at the Public Safety Building. Youth and adult volunteers are needed to serve as Leader Assistants, helping staff leaders monitor and supervise an assigned group of 8 to 10 children. Adult volunteers not only serve as Leader Assistants but can also serve as presenters (teach a topic). Presenters would be asked to teach one day per week for any or all of the four Safety Town sessions.
