We continue to monitor the situation and ask that everyone redouble their efforts to wash hands, clean workspaces, and use good judgment when it comes to personal travel, and staying away from work if you feel ill.

Gone are the days of our senior citizens passively watching the world go by. The Senior Center of York offers a wide variety of educational and entertaining programs for adults. Participation is open to seniors age 55 or better and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required for all activities and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We at the Senior Center of York like to think our Center is one of the best in the area. Many have made the Senior Center of York a "second home" where they can join friends in crafts, exercise classes, line dancing, painting, and drawing, or needlework and bridge, to name only a few. Yes, we do have checkers and dominoes, too.
The Center is operated by York County with involvement from the business and civic community and the Peninsula Agency on Aging (PAA). The Board of Supervisors appoints the Senior Center of York Board of Directors, which works closely with staff to shape programs and activities.
Programs & Functions
All programs and functions are requested by patrons and supported by many hardworking volunteers who are dedicated to making the Center a continuing and growing success. The Dining Club, crafts and bridge clubs, and senior-cise programs are particularly popular.
