Welcome to the York County Gov Series!

We’re excited to introduce you to the Gov Series, a unique program designed to give residents an inside look at how York County government works. Over the course of 10 weeks, participants dive deep into the operations that keep our community running—meeting department leaders, exploring essential services, and learning how local decisions shape everyday life. 

The inaugural 2025 class recently graduated after an engaging journey through topics like Administration, Courts and Judicial Services, Public Safety, Community Services, Finance, Economic Development, Planning, and more. From hands-on demonstrations to behind-the-scenes tours, the Gov Series offers an interactive experience that connects citizens with the people and processes behind County government.
