History
The seventh fire station built in York County, the "Mooretown Fire Station" was established by the County through the adaptive re-use of a former youth group home in 2023.
Service Area
Fire Station 7 Mooretown responds first due to the areas of Mooretown, By-Pass/Waller Mill area, and Richmond Road. This station also provides primary backup response to the Bruton and Skimino Fire Stations along with automatic mutual aid into the City of Williamsburg and James City County.
