Travis C. Rhodes, a Virginia registered professional engineer, is the Public Works Chief of Utility Operations, overseeing planning, development, and maintenance of the County’s sanitary sewer infrastructure. Travis earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University in 2017. He started his career at a civil design firm in Tennessee then went to work for the City of Virginia Beach as a planning engineer. He joined York County in 2021 as a Stormwater Engineer before being promoted to Assistant Engineering Manager and eventually his current title.
