Kevin Smith is the York County Public Library Director. He began his career with York County in 1999 as a Librarian Supervisor and was appointed to the position of Director in 2007.
Mr. Smith received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the College of William and Mary in 1994 and Master of Science in Library and Information Science from The Catholic University in 1999. Before coming to York County Mr. Smith worked for Chesterfield Public Library and The Library of Virginia. He is also past president of the Virginia Library Association.
