Responsibilities
Greg Gillette, Chief of Budget, manages and supervises the staff of the Budget Division. This division is responsible for preparing the annual operating and capital budgets and monitoring departmental expenditures throughout the year to ensure that the County operates within its budget.
Background
Mr. Gillette received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with dual majors in Finance and Accounting from Old Dominion University. He joined York County Finance as the Grants Coordinator in 2019 before transitioning to the Budget division in 2021. Before working for York County, he held staff accountant positions at both a publicly traded tech company and a privately held seafood processing and distribution company.
