Help fight hunger by supporting the annual Commissioners & Cans Food and Fund Drive, running now through August 31. This friendly statewide competition, led by the Commissioners of the Revenue Association of Virginia and the Virginia Federation of Food Banks, helps stock the shelves of seven regional food banks. Donate non-perishable food items such as canned meats, fruits, vegetables, cereals, pasta, peanut butter, and shelf-stable milk at marked collection boxes, including the Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office (12 Alexander Hamilton Blvd., Yorktown), Alewerks Brewery (189B Ewell Rd., Williamsburg), various York County government buildings, and participating businesses.
