About Tim Cross
As Deputy Director of Planning & Development Services, Tim Cross manages the daily operations of the division and coordinates the application review and Comprehensive Plan update processes. He also serves as the staff liaison to the Planning Commission and performs demographic and statistical analysis.
Mr. Cross graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. In 1988 he earned his Master of City and Regional Planning degree from Rutgers University. He began working for York County as a Planner in 1989 and was promoted to Senior Planner in 1996, Principal Planner in 2001, and Deputy Director of Planning & Development Services in May 2018. In 1999 he attained professional certification as a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
