Robert L. Krieger III, is the Director of Public Works.
Mr. Krieger earned his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from Virginia Tech and is the recipient of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of American Public Works Associations Professional Manager of the Year. He joined York County in 2000 and has served as the county's Superintendent of Grounds, Chief of Stormwater and Grounds Maintenance and Construction, and as the County's Fleet Manager. His prior experience includes positions with the Department of Parks and Recreation with the City of Hampton and Facilities Maintenance Management at The College of William and Mary.
