About Heather Schott
Heather Schott is the County's Assistant to the County Administrator and Deputy Clerk to the Board of Supervisors. She directs the provision of legislative services for the County Administrator and the Board of Supervisors, developing and coordinating the agenda and agenda materials for the Board's meetings.
She is responsible for maintaining and updating the official records of the Board of Supervisors and County Administrator, directing the preparation and distribution of meeting minutes, preparing or overseeing the preparation of resolutions, ordinances, and various forms of correspondence for the County Administrator and Board of Supervisors.
Mrs. Schott received her Master Municipal Clerk designation in 2022 and Certified Municipal Clerk designation in 2018. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and Public Administration. Mrs. Schott is a member of the Virginia Municipal Clerks Association, the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and the Virginia Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators. She has worked for the County in various administrative roles since 2007.
