Can I place a DVD rental kiosk on my commercial property?
A DVD rental kiosk placed outside of a commercial building requires a site plan showing the placement of the kiosk to ensure pedestrian traffic on the sidewalk is not impeded and does not hinder fire and life safety personnel from entering the premises in case of an emergency. Additionally, a business license from the rental company is required and if a new electrical outlet is installed, an electrical permit will be required. Please call the Development Services office if you have any further questions at 757-890-3531.
