YORK COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FOG PROGRAM:York County Utilities is implementing a Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) program. The purpose of the FOG Program is to prevent sanitary sewer back-ups and overflows which result from the build-up of fats, oil and grease in the sanitary sewer collection system, through education, permitting, adequate equipment, scheduled preventative maintenance, proper disposal and inspections.
