New Quarter Park

Come to New Quarter Park

Hello All,

We are getting some perfect weather to go kayaking on beautiful Queens Creek. We have kayaks for rent for Guests 13 and older (must have a guardian for ages 17 and under). We also offer guided tours of Queens Creek as well as Back Creek in Yorktown. Go to https://www.yorkcounty.gov/1932/Kayaking for more information.

This week at the park

  • Wednesday, June  26:  Moonlight and Music is a FREE program led by local musician Joe Duggan. Come to the park for a round robin music circle. You can either join in on the music with your own acoustical instrument or come to enjoy listening and singing along!
  • Saturday, June 29:  Stories By the Fire will be presented by professional storyteller Anthony Burcher. Join us for FREE from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m. for s’mores and stories at New Quarter Park’s fire circle. S’mores will be available from 7:45 to 8:15 p.m. followed by an hour of stories.

For more information about any of our programs, call New Quarter Park at 757-890-5840.
