New Quarter Park

Come to New Quarter Park

Hello All,

We have a busy weekend coming up, with some FREE programs. Be sure to stop by the park, to check them out!

This weekend at the park

  • Friday, June 14 – The monthly Wash and Talk, with park interpreter Sara Lewis will begin at 10 a.m.  Come join Sara to clean, examine, and sort artifacts found at the park.  You will enjoy learning a lot about the artifacts from Sara!

  • Saturday, June 15 – Bring Your Own Kayak (BYOK) is a FREE kayak tour of Queens Creek, hosted by Bay Country Kayaking. Bring your own kayak or canoe out to “the Point” at 9 a.m. for a 2 hour tour. If you do not have your own kayak you can rent one from Bay Country Kayaking.

  • Saturday, June 15 – It’s Movie in The Park night again at New Quarter Park! We’ll be showing Mary Poppins Returns at sunset (about 8:15 p.m.). Bring a chair and blanket. Concessions will be available for purchase. For more information on movie dates, locations and titles, go to www.yorkcounty.gov/parksandrec

Next Monday-Friday, June 17 to 21, please be aware that we will have multiple camps running at the park. Expect a higher number of people attending the park from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during those days.
