Have you heard of Pickleball? It’s a popular sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. You are invited to attend a two-hour Introduction to Pickleball later this month. The presentation covers the basics of this sports and its rules, demonstrations of the basic skills and techniques involved, and hands-on practice! Registration is now open, but space is limited.
- Wednesday, March 20, 6 p.m. at Back Creek Park (3000 Goodwin Neck Road) – This class will be led by an instructor from the USA Pickleball Association.
- Thursday, March 28, 1 p.m. at the Senior Center of York (5314 George Washington Memorial Highway in the Washington Square Shopping Center) – This class will be led by the County’s Outdoor Recreation Supervisor.
Equipment will be provided at each presentation. Register online for either session at www.yorkcounty.gov/parksandrec.
