New Junior Hockey Club Hosting Event to Reveal Coaching Staff & Jersey Design
Yorktown Admirals expected to boost tourism, youth development
and local economy
(YORKTOWN, VA, Feb. 10, 2026) – On Thursday, Feb. 12, Chilled Ponds Yorktown will host an event to introduce the coaching staff and unveil the jersey design for the Yorktown Admirals—a new junior hockey club coming to York County this summer. The event will include remarks from the Yorktown Admirals team staff and York County. Media, residents and hockey fans are encouraged to attend.
The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Chilled Ponds Yorktown, located at 401 Village Avenue, and is open to the public.
The Yorktown Admirals will compete in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), including a Tier II National Collegiate Development Conference team and a Tier III USPHL Premier team. The franchise expands York County’s growing role
