County Offices Closed October 20 in Observance of Yorktown Day

The following York County offices will be closed on Monday, October 20, in observance of Yorktown Day: 

• County Government Offices
• York-Poquoson Social Services
• York County Libraries
• Voter Registration Offices
• Waste Management Center Offices 

York County Courts, Virginia Cooperative Extension, the VPPSA Compost Facility, Transfer Station, and Citizen Drop-off areas at the Waste Management Center are open on October 20.

Garbage collections are not affected by the holiday. Citizens needing assistance are reminded to submit requests via the Customer Service Request Portal – www.yorkcounty.gov/requests. 

Note: The York-Poquoson Courthouse is closed Monday, October 13, in observance of Columbus Day.
