York County Invites Residents to New Government Series

          York County is excited to announce a new educational series designed to help residents learn more about how their local government works. The multi-week program, York County Gov Series, will offer a behind-the-scenes look at county departments, services, and leadership.
           Topics include the county’s history and geography, public safety operations, court systems, economic development, budgeting, and more. Participants will meet local officials, hear from department leaders, and learn how they can get involved through Boards and Commissions.
           “This is a great way for residents to better understand the work we do and how they can have a voice in our community,” said County Administrator, Mark Bellamy.
