     Start your weekend with sunshine and shopping along the waterfront at Riverwalk Landing! Join us on Saturday, July 12, for Yorktown Market Days’ annual Fun in the Sun Market. This special-themed market will have you shell-ebrating all morning long with unique finds, family-friendly activities, and tasty treats–guaranteed to start your summer off right!

     From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., kids can enjoy a variety of fun activities, including lawn games, bubbles, temporary tattoos, crafts, and more. Starting at 9 a.m., the excitement continues with inflatables and a balloon artist will be on hand to twist and create playful designs until 12 p.m. Guests can also join in the rhythm with the One Love Caribbean Steel Drum Band, performing live on the Riverwalk Landing Stage from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. And don’t miss a special cooking demo by Persnickety Crane Café. They’ll be whipping up Oatnut Energy Bites from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

     While you’re soaking up the sun on Water Street, pick up fresh meats, local produce, spices, BBQ sauce, and other goodies to help you prepare summer-inspired dishes at home. You can also purchase sea-themed art and jewelry to adorn your upcoming seasonal attire. During the event, pick up some tasty treats from food vendors Boyd’s Tasty Dogs, Coastal Thirst, Dough Haus, Pop’s Kettle Corn, and Sno Kingz SnoBallz.
