Earth Day Tire Recycling Event

In celebration of Earth Day 2025, residents may bring up to five tires (per household) to our free Tire Recycling Event on April 26th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at 102 County Drive, hosted by our Mosquito Control Division.

Tires must be off-rim, and be free of mud/concrete.
 
Tires retain water, and create a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes.  Help us Fight the Bite and help keep Yorktown Beautiful!
