Start Your Engines for Yorktown’s 
 Vintage Market/Car Show on Main Street on May 13

     On Saturday, May 13, put your pedal to the metal and head to Historic Yorktown for the second annual Vintage Market and Car Show on Main Street from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

     Shop the Vintage Market at Riverwalk Landing for treasures that are sure to delight your sense of nostalgia like upcycled home, garden, and reusable items, as well as hard-to-find collectibles such as tools, woodcrafts, and lamps. While you hunt for antiques, jive out to The Liberty Dolls, who will be performing hits from the '40s, '50s, and '60s on the Riverwalk Landing waterfront performance stage from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

     Up the hill on Main Street, check out over 20 fully restored classic cars ranging from a 1928 Ford Model A Special Coupe to a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette and chat with the owners who love to show off their automobiles! Local musician Evan Young will sing country and rockabilly songs on Main Street from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

     This is all in addition to the award-winning Yorktown Market Days vendors and artists that you know and love, so you can pick up fresh local produce, fresh meats and baked goods, delicious delights, and one-of-a-kind local artwork. Grab breakfast, lunch, or a tasty snack from Coastal Thirst and Boyd’s Tasty Dogs food trucks. Many of the regular vendors will also be showcasing antique and timeless pieces for this special market.      Special thanks to the Historic Virginia Peninsula Region of the Antique Automobile Association of America for partnering with York County to get this show on the road in Yorktown. The event will feature classic cars and trucks lovingly preserved and maintained in all their glory. Share memories and experiences of your own “glory days” with the owners of these vintage cars. 

     Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing parking terrace, York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building, and other designated public parking lots. The complimentary, ADA accessible Yorktown Trolley runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with several stops throughout town. The event is held rain or shine.
