New Sidewalks

Improving Walkability Throughout the County

Sidewalks are springing up in certain strategic locations, with more coming soon.  Currently under construction, the sidewalk at the Tabb Library allows pedestrians to cross Rt. 134 to the facility and the Victory Family YMCA. A sidewalk along Big Bethel Road near Tabb Elementary School has been poured and awaits installation of the VDOT crosswalk. In the upper County, work is underway for the path along Old Williamsburg Road.  And the final portion of the brick walk along Zweybrucken is nearing completion in the historic area. Other projects are shown on the Capital Improvement Project page, updated regularly.
