The free air-conditioned (and heated) Trolley is one of the best ways to see Historic Yorktown, especially during peak tourist season or special events. While the transportation service is bookended by the two main historical attractions of the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, there are several convenient stops in between including the Victory Monument, Historic Main Street, Riverwalk Landing, Yorktown Beach, Watermen’s Museum, and the York County Courts and Office Complex.
During your ride, Trolley drivers can provide helpful information about each stop so you can focus on the scenery, the history, and where you want to have your next meal. The overall route takes an estimated 20 to 25 minutes to complete.
Each Trolley is ADA accessible and includes an infotainment system highlighting details about upcoming events in Historic Yorktown as well as promotions for local businesses.
