#1 Easter Egg Scramble Ages 5-12

Join us at New Quarter Park and hop down our trails to collect Easter eggs filled with surprises on Saturday, April 1, from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Participants will receive a goody bag and make crafts. The fee is $10 per resident and $15 per non-resident. Register by March 24.

#2 Youth Bike Series

Join us for our Weekend On Your Wheels Youth Bike Race Series. The races will be held at New Quarter Park on select Sundays through March and April. The youth mountain bike trail has three courses. The short course is designed for kids 6 and under who ride push and balance bikes and for elementary/novice (no training wheels) riders. The medium course is designed for elementary/intermediate riders, usually in middle school or ages 11 to 14. The long course is designed for high school riders ages 14 to 17. Parents must be present, and helmets are required—fee for all 3 races; is $25 for residents and $40 for non-residents.

#3 Adult Open Gym Basketball

This is a free opportunity for fitness and fun for ages 18+. Open gym play 3v3 on Sundays, from 1 to 3 pm, until March 26 at Coventry Elementary School gym. Picture ID required.

#4 Birthday Bash - Senior Center of York

Join us on Friday, March 17, from 1-2 pm to listen to Folk singers Bob and Jeanne as they sing in the green for St. Patrick's Day. Refreshments will be served. Register online or by calling the Senior Center at 757-890-3444.

#5 Stories by the Fire

Pirates are invading New Quarter Park on Saturday, March 25! Join the scallywags for tales around the Fire Circle while enjoying delicious s'mores. The fun will begin with S'mores from 7 to 7:30 pm, with stories starting right after. The registration fee covers the cost of all the s'more materials and the performance by professional storytellers. All stories will be safe and appropriate for children to hear. Space is limited, do not wait to register. The fee is $3 for residents and $5 for non-residents.
