Grafton Annex Closing in Preparation for the
Yorktown Library Reopening
January 23, 2023
York County’s temporary library location in the Grafton Annex is closing Tuesday, January 31, in anticipation of the return of services to the Yorktown Library as the building’s renovation nears completion. Patrons will have until 6 p.m. on Monday, January 30, to pick up any holds or other items from the Grafton Annex.
While staff and books will be moving back to the Yorktown Library, a reopening date has not been set as final construction work is ongoing in some areas of the building. In the interim, staff anticipate offering curbside services at the Yorktown branch, with details coming soon.
The Tabb Library, located at 100 Long Green Blvd., continues to offer full services, and is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Updates will be posted on the website at www.yorkcounty.gov/library and on Facebook or Instagram (both found at yorkcountypubliclibrary).
