Garbage/Recycling - Week of January 2

Curbside garbage  collections are on a one day delay during the week of December 26.

• Monday collection on Tuesday
• Tuesday collection on Wednesday
• Wednesday collection on Thursday
• Thursday collection on Friday
• Friday collection on Saturday

This week is a Blue Recycling Week.  There is no change to the curbside recycling collections, so residents are reminded to place their recycling containers at the roadside by 7:00am on their regular collection day.  

The Waste Management Facility will be closed on Monday, January 2.  This includes citizen trash drop-off, transfer station, recycling center, and the VPPSA Compost Facility.  Operations will resume on Tuesday, January 3.

Due to increased holiday material and/or inclement weather, some garbage and recycling collections may take place later than usual, or may carry over to the next day.  If your trash or recycling is not collected as usual, please leave containers at the roadside until collections are complete.
