York County Thanksgiving Holiday Closings

York County Government offices and courts will observe the following schedule for the Thanksgiving holiday:
Wednesday, November 23
- York County Public Libraries - Closing at 5 p.m.
- York County Courts - Closing at noon
- Virginia Cooperative Extension - Closing at noon
Thursday/Friday, November 24 & 25
- County Government Offices - Closed
- York County Public Libraries - Closed
- York-Poquoson Social Services - Closed
- Virginia Cooperative Extension - Closed
- All Courts - Closed
- Waste Management Center Admin - Closed
All Waste Management operations are closed on Thursday, November 24. Garbage and recycling collections scheduled for those dates will be delayed one day until all collections are completed on Saturday.
Most operations, including the VPPSA Compost Facility, Goodwin Neck Transfer Station and Citizen Drop-off for recycling and/or garbage disposal will follow normal operating hours on Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26.
