Tickets Still Available for Sunday’s Rescheduled Wine Festival
Your taste buds can take a trip around the world on Sunday (11/13) from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Yorktown Wine Festival! Ticketholders will be able to sample wine, mead, and more from over a dozen wineries and distilleries, enjoy great food from local restaurants, and listen to live music from Wonderland and Brasswind. Author Talk at Tabb Library, Other Programs for Adult Patrons Coming Up
Local author and combat veteran Bill Glose will be at the Tabb Library from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Saturday (11/12) to give an author talk and book signing featuring his recently published work All the Ruined Men: Stories, from St. Martin’s Press/MacMillan Publishers. On Tuesday (11/15), enjoy a night of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The busy week continues on Wednesday (11/16) when Duane Baldwin, Museum Education Specialist with the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, provides an interesting and informative presentation about the traditional culture of the Indigenous people of Virginia (6:30 to 7:30 p.m.).
