September 8: The Michael Clark Band
Musical styles are tastefully blended by The Michael Clark Band, featuring Tracy Clark – sometimes in the same song! The band incorporates many different musical styles into their show. Powerful vocal and tight musical arrangements are trademarks of every performance. This is music you can dance to as well as listen to. Whether honoring the original rendition of a classic number or performing an original tune, the music is presented in the band’s own funky style.
September 15: Runnin’ Shine
Hailing from various hometowns and brought together by the love of country music, each member of this four-piece country act brings powerful energy and uniqueness to the band. They call it Rage Country, but you might call it country with a lot of swagger. Either way, you’re in for a good time!
September 22: Blue Tips Rhythm Revue
They didn’t set out to be the next go-to Motown band in the region, but when they played for their friend’s wedding over ten years ago, they fell into a groove that was too good to let go. The performers may be young, but don’t let their age fool you. They are filled with old-school soul.
September 29: The Jason Cale Band
A blend of New Orleans funk, blues rock, jazz fusion, and R&B elements creates the musical gumbo that is The Jason Cale Band. The music is full of heart and is reminiscent of the fearless musical offerings of the late 60s/early 70s artists and have performed nationally and internationally.
October 6: The Whiskey Rebellion
Hailing from the Fan District of Richmond, this high-energy acoustic band has played thousands of shows across the nation. Band members draw from their diverse backgrounds to bring a little bluegrass, jazz, and a bit of rock-n-roll to the stage. While they cover a wide variety of artists, their approach to each song is always steeped in their acoustic ability to nail three-part harmonies. They have been hailed “the best thing to happen to Americana since 1776” by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and cannot wait to take the stage at Riverwalk Landing.
