Yorktown Hosts Vintage Themed Market /Car Show on Main Street this Saturday!

Take a step back in time with Yorktown's first-ever Vintage Themed Market at Riverwalk Landing and Classic Car Show on Historic Main Street on Saturday, May 14, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Shop the Vintage Market at Riverwalk Landing for upcycled treasures and hard-to-find collectibles that are sure to delight your sense of nostalgia. Up the hill on Historic Main Street, stroll among 32 fully restored classic cars ranging from a 1929 Ford Model A 4-door to a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette and chat with the vehicle owners who love to talk about their cars!
This is all in addition to the awesome Yorktown Market Days and artists that you know and love, so you can stock up on fresh local produce; fresh meats and baked goods; all manner of delectable delights; and unique local artwork. Special thanks to the Historic Virginia Peninsula Region of the Antique Automobile Association of America for partnering with York County to bring this exciting event to Yorktown. The car show will feature classic cars and trucks lovingly preserved and maintained in all their glory. Share memories and experiences of your own “glory days” with the owners of these vintage cars.
While in town, immerse yourself in the history that surrounds you by exploring the historic sites along Main Street, such as Grace Episcopal Church, which is celebrating its 325th year. The Gallery at York Hall will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. so be sure to stop in and see what's new.
Enjoy live music from Virginia Shellphish Coalition from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Riverwalk Landing.
Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing parking terrace, York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building, and other designated public parking lots. The free Yorktown Trolley runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with several stops through town. The event is held rain or shine.
