Raders Quarter Farm is ready to help you plan your holiday meals. Rob will have fresh, local, pasture raised turkeys as well as heritage whole hog sausage, bacon and ham during the Harvest Market on November 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pick up seasonal treats like hot cocoa bombs from Taylor Made Chocolate and unique holiday pieces such as custom drawn ornaments from artist Celeste Draughn. More than 50 vendors and artists participate in this special extended market. Visitors will also find seasonal vegetables; fresh oysters; eggs; homemade baked goods; pumpkin and apple pies; raw juices, coffees, and teas; jams, jellies, and sauces; gourmet dog treats; handmade potato chips and chocolate covered peanuts; and so much more.

NEW this year - don't miss the amazing live demo from Nature's Wonderland Carving. James Miller will be carving logs live during the event to create beautiful works of art. He'll be set up in the green area in front of the Water Street Grille Fountain. Though you shouldn't have trouble finding him. Just follow the sound of his saw!

Inside the Freight Shed will be a socially distanced set-up for a live animal show with the Virginia Living Museum at 1 p.m. There will be limited seating and all adults are asked to wear face coverings inside the building as well as children who are old enough to do so. The always-popular alpacas will also return for this market.

There's bound to be some knee slappin', boot stompin', and hand clappin' with a live performance of bluegrass music from Ralph Motley!

We are taking important precautions to keep our customers and vendors safe amidst COVID-19 concerns, including required spacing between vendors and a setup to avoid congestion in typically high-traffic areas. All vendors and staff are required to wear face coverings when interacting with customers who are less than 6 feet away. Hand sanitizer stations will be set up as you enter, as well as signs stating that no one with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19, or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in the prior 14 days, is permitted to shop at the market.
