[ARCHIVED] Library Seeks Community Input

The York County Public Library is seeking community input on how local residents currently use the library and how they would like to use the library in the future. A public survey will be conducted April 9 through May 31. The survey offers area residents an opportunity to share their views, expectations, and satisfaction with library services, programs, collections and facilities.

“We are interested in learning how citizens view the evolving role of the public library in the community,” said Kevin Smith, Director of Library Services. “The data collected will help us develop a new Strategic Plan for the libraries and move forward with services that will make the maximum impact in our community.”

The survey is open to all York County residents and non-resident library users. It can be completed in less than five minutes. The survey can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QXVKQCT. Paper copies are available at public service desks at both the Tabb and Yorktown Libraries. Participants in the survey are eligible to enter a drawing for a Kindle Fire.
