York County government offices and courts will be closed the following days:
- Thursday, December 24 & Friday, December 25 – York County Offices, Courts, Public Libraries, York-Poquoson Social Services, Virginia Cooperative Extension, and Waste Management Center Administrative Offices
- Saturday, December 26 – York County Public Libraries
- Thursday, December 31 & Friday, January 1 – York County Offices, Courts, Libraries, York-Poquoson Social Services, Virginia Cooperative Extension, and Waste Management Center Administrative Offices
- Saturday, January 2 – York County Public Libraries
There are no Waste Management operations/collections on Fridays - December 25 and January 1.
- Friday curbside garbage and recycling collections are moved to Saturday.
- The VPPSA Compost Facility is closed at 12:00 p.m. on December 24, and all day on December 25 and January 1.
