York County Offices and the VPPSA Compost Facility are Closed for the Labor Day Holiday on Monday September 2. The Waste Management Transfer Station and citizen drop-off areas for garbage and recycling are open regular operating hours.
Curbside garbage collections will not be affected by the Labor Day holiday and will occur as scheduled. Curbside recycling collections will be delayed by one day – Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday, Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday, etc., with Friday routes being collected on Saturday September 7.
