C.J. Box, author of 21 New York Times best-sellers, presents an author talk and book signing starting at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, at Christopher Newport University’s David Student Union. The Edgar Award-winning novelist is best known for his mysteries featuring Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett. Vicious Circle, his 17th Joe Pickett novel, debuted at #2 on the March 9, 2017, NYT best-seller list. His latest novel, Paradise Valley, was released July 25th and features investigator Cassie Dewell.
Free tickets for the author talk, question-and-answer session and book signing are available beginning Monday, Sept. 11, at the sponsoring libraries of the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium, which consists of the public libraries of York County, Newport News, Hampton, and Poquoson and the academic libraries of Christopher Newport University, Hampton University and Thomas Nelson Community College. Tickets will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to two per person while supplies last. Ticket holders will be seated first at the event. Any remaining seats will be open to the general public.
