The Hunger Games Trilogy, by Suzanne Collins, is a classic and beloved YA series. In 2020, Collins published a prequel to the trilogy called The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. This is about the early days of the Hunger Games, set during the 10th annual Games. This week we have two great reviews of this book. The easiest way to find new books is through readalikes, which is a way of grouping books based on factors such as genre, topic, or characters. In our new Reading through the Library series, we'll take you on a journey through the library, focusing on books that have similar themes regardless of intended audience.

Today we will travel through fantastical realms to discover that you don't have to be a teen to enjoy young adult novels or a middle schooler to read middle grade books.
